Eagle Glen: Discovering Eagle Glen: Corona’s Premier Neighborhood

Eagle Glen is my "goto" neighborhood recommendation for most people thinking about moving to Corona.

I moved to Corona in 2001 and have lived in five distinctly different neighborhoods since then. Four of those years were spent in Eagle Glen. I’ve experienced its charm firsthand—from watching my daughters attend Wilson Elementary, to currently spending a lot of my time playing and coaching at the Eagle Glen Pickleball Club.

Nestled against the backdrop of the Santa Ana Mountains, Eagle Glen isn't just a collection of homes with a school a park and some shops—it’s a legit lifestyle destination. You really can't compare it to any other neighborhood in Corona.  Whether you’re into golf, pickleball, walks to the park with the kids or a professional looking for a strategic home base, this neighborhood offers a blend of scenic beauty and modern convenience that is unique to the area.

1. The Commuter’s "Secret" Route

For those working in Orange County or Los Angeles, location is everything. One of the biggest advantages of living in Eagle Glen is the unique "backdoor" access to the 91 Freeway westbound and/or the 71 Freeway. Note: Living further south of the Cajalco exit off the 15 Freeway makes it more difficult and time consuming to use this route however it is still possible.

  • The Route: Instead of fighting local traffic toward the I-15, residents can take Masters Drive to Foothill Parkway, which connects directly to Green River Road.
  • The Benefit: This path provides direct access to the 91 West on-ramps, shaving precious minutes off your daily commute and bypassing some of the area’s heaviest congestion.

2. World-Class Sports: Golf & Pickleball

The heartbeat of the community is the Eagle Glen Golf Club. Designed by world-renowned architect Gary Roger Baird, this 18-hole championship course offers dramatic elevation changes and stunning views of the Cleveland National Forest.
But the real buzz lately is about the Pickleball:

  • The Club: The brand-new Eagle Glen Pickleball Club features 17 outdoor LED-lit courts with tournament-grade surfaces.
  • Social Scene: With a courtside bistro, pro shop, and shaded cabanas, it has quickly become the premier social and athletic hub for the Inland Empire.

3. Top-Tier Education

Families are consistently drawn to Eagle Glen because it sits within the highly-regarded Corona-Norco Unified School District. The neighborhood is served by top-rated institutions, including:

  • Wilson Elementary (Located within the community, highly walkable)
  • El Cerrito Middle School (Not located in the community but close by)
  • Santiago High School (Not located in the community but close by)

4. Real Estate: Typical Housing & Market Trends

The homes in Eagle Glen are known for their "California Mediterranean" flair—think red tile roofs, stucco exteriors, and grand entryways. Most were built between 1991 and 2003.

  • Housing Styles: You’ll primarily find medium (3–4 bedroom) to large (5+ bedroom) single-family homes ranging from 1,200 to over 4,500 square feet.
  • Market Pricing: As of early 2026, the median sale price is approximately $933,000.

    • 3-Bedroom Homes: Average ~$877k
    • 4-Bedroom Homes: Average ~$942k
    • Golf Course Estates: Premium properties can range from $1.1M to over $2M.

5. Dining & Shopping: From Casual Bites to Lakeside Dinners

Good food is only a few minutes away, no freeway driving required. Between the Village at Eagle Glen, Bedford Marketplace, and the nearby Shops at Dos Lagos, there are lots of options:

  • The Eagle Glen Grille: Located at the Golf/Pickleball Club has good food, tasty cocktails and a great view.
  • Pablitos Tacos: Famous for their Peruvian-Mexican fusion and a solid choice for quick and casual meals (try the Keto Tacos!).
  • Wood Ranch: An upscale comfort-food favorite at Dos Lagos.
  • Con Amore Ristorante: Widely considered the best authentic Italian in Corona, located just minutes away.
  • Many more good options nearby

Final Thoughts

With a crime rate significantly lower than the national average and a reputation for being one of the safest, most "neighborly" pockets of Riverside County, Eagle Glen is more than a place to live—it’s a place to thrive.
